| 4/29/2023 | Hello TMIY men!
This Saturday will be the last TMIY meeting for the semester until they figure out something for the summer months so it may be the last Sheen meeting for a bit. We had Jason, Todd, Will, Roland, Les and Stan for last week’s great discussion on Christ’s miracles. This coming Saturday is a really good breakdown of the New Testament – how it relates to the Old Testament, its structure and the differences between the four Gospel writers – their different emphases and audiences. I guarantee you that you will learn EXTREMELY INTERESTING THINGS from this lesson, so please make plans to stick around for an hour after TMIY and continue your Catholic education and continue the fellowship! Here’s an excerpt: New Testament Documents will reveal that the Bible has two acts: as do many dramas in the theater: These acts are vitally related one to another. The second act is an advance upon the first, that carries the plot to its full realization
New Testament / God is dealing with all nations.
New Testament/ justification is by GRACE.
New Testament, emphasizes is on being something.
New Testament, realizations.
New Testament, satisfaction.
New Testament, God seeks man.
New Testament, man is delivered from sin. Hope to see many of you, please come and we’ll see you Saturday morning bright and early! God love you! Phil |
