Walking with Purpose (WWP) is a national women’s Catholic Bible study established in 2002 to help women develop a deeper personal relationship with Christ. Through personal study and small group discussions, women can better navigate their lives and overcome challenges with guidance provided through Scripture and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
Walking with Purpose is in more than 460 parishes across the United States, Europe, and Canada and has over 42,000 participants. WWP was first introduced to the Church of the Holy Spirit in San Antonio as a small independent virtual study during the Covid pandemic of 2020. In October 2021, WWP became an official parish ministry and now offers both daytime and evening in-person options at Holy Spirit church and a virtual evening option on Zoom.

Each WWP Bible Study focuses on themes relevant to the unique needs and experiences of Christian women. As wives, mothers, daughters, and friends, we are often caretakers for others.  Yet we don’t always do this for ourselves. In this way, WWP serves as a source of “spiritual self-care” so we can better navigate our lives through God’s will.Â
If you are looking for a deeper relationship with Jesus and want to be in community with other Sisters-in-Christ, please join us at Walking With Purpose! We encourage you to attend one of our monthly Open Houses to learn more about our ministry and community here at Holy Spirit.
