In today’s environment, men are facing unbelievable pressures and temptations. A report in 2021 found that 50% of marriages end in divorce, and this number keeps climbing. Unfortunately, many of these failed marriages means that many children are separated from one parent, which prevents them from experiencing a solid family foundation.

That Man Is You (TMIY) is a program specifically tailored for men who are looking for answers to tough questions, such as the following:

• What does it mean to have faith?

•  How do I practice my faith?

• How can I become a more engaged father?

• Why is it important for me to become a committed husband?

• How do I deal with adversity?

• How can I create a safe environment for my family?

In the Fall of 2021, a core team of men brought the TMIY program the Church of Holy Spirit, and it has quickly gained traction. In February of 2022, our TMIY program was awarded 501(c)(3) status, meaning we are approved as a nonprofit organization dedicated to educational and religious purposes.

The comprehensive curriculum for TMIY is sponsored by Paradisus Dei, and it is updated continually. At Holy Spirit, our sessions are scheduled on Saturday mornings starting at 6:15 a.m. Our Kitchen Team prepares breakfast for the participants,
and ample time for fellowship is included. Thereafter, we watch the weekly video that covers the important topic of the week.
We also intersperse powerful testimonials from our team members. Each session concludes with small table discussions related to the topic of the week.
